Monmouthshire has its fair share of quality Indian restaurants but we are delighted to say that when the legendary rock band Status Quo played live at nearby Caldicot Castle last year, they’d heard of our cuisine and chose to order a special pre-concert banquet from us which we made especially to their requirements and served in person to them backstage.
However, what makes us most proud is the appreciation of our regular customers, many of whom have been with us since our launch 17 years ago.The contemporary and spacious interior of the Indian Empire makes us a popular choice for all occasions. Customers can enjoy a quiet, romantic dinner for two, or come along to one of our lively monthly buffet evenings and enjoy a choice of over twenty-five different Bangladeshi and Indian dishes. With an extensive a la carte menu which offers a delicious fusion of traditional and modern pan-Indian cuisine, you are sure to find a dish that will appeal to your taste buds. As the Status Quo lyric says: “Whatever you want!”
Live music can be provided for private functions by arrangement with the management.
As a former South Wales Argus Indian Restaurant of the Year winner and British Curry Awards finalist, we are delighted that this success has been recognized on numerous occasions.
